Ingredients

4 cups water

Chicken giblets

Drippings from a roast chicken and/or chicken bouillon

1 Tbsp butter

2 Tbsp flour mixed with water

Instructions

  1. Boil giblets in water for 15 minutes making sure to skim off the impurities.
  2. If you're using a roast chicken's drippings separate the fat from the stock. Alternatively you can use chicken bouillon or use both for more flavor.
  3. Remove giblets and add in the separated stock or chicken bouillon.
  4. Mix flour and water together.
  5. Stir as you add in flour slurry.
  6. Cook for about 8 minutes until gravy is thickened.

Cooking Tips

Add pepper or herbs to elevate your gravy.

Only have chicken bouillon? No problem just use it for a quick gravy.
